Reminiscent of 1950's styled switchblades, the Ti-Lite™ tactical folders, echo the swift lines of memorable classics. Legal to carry almost everywhere, the AUS 8A Stainless steel blades feature razor sharp edges and sturdy, needle sharp points. The handles, made of forged Titanium, are available with our original finish (CS26S) or with our new polished, blue anodized finish (CS26SB). They have been CNC milled for a visually appealing look, and for maximum strength and safety, we have equipped our Ti-Lites™ with full length Titanium leaf spring locks (proven, in our tests, to hold 100 lbs). For ease of carry, the Ti-Lites™ come equipped with a small, unobtrusive steel pocket clip. Phil Boguszewski worked with Cold Steel utilizing his design influence and help in the creation of the Ti-Lites.™ The Zytel® Handled Ti-Lites™ (CS26SP) Custom quality folding knives, especially those manufactured with Titanium handles and Titanium leaf spring locks are undeniably strong, lightweight, and beautiful to look at, but they’re also quite expensive.
We know that many of our customers love the look of our Ti-Lites™ but find the prices a little steep. So we have created some very affordable alternatives. The Zytel® Ti-Lite™ with a 4 inch blade mimics the look of its more expensive counterparts almost exactly, and our new Zytel® Ti-Lite™ with a six inch blade is a completely unique Ti-Lite,™ virtually in a class by itself.
Instead of Titanium, we used 43% glass filled Zytel® for the handles and 440A Sub Zero Quenched stainless steel for the leaf spring lock and liners. The results are extraordinarily lightweight knives that are remarkably strong, sharp and good looking, at a price almost everyone can afford.
