Benchmade Knife Company was originally founded in 1988 as a vendor-based business and eventually grew to become capable of in-house manufacturing. With new machines and top technology including lasers, they started a path that would eventually lead them to become a leading manufacturer of knives. Non-traditional materials and contemporary methods of manufacturing are used when they take on building a new line of Benchmade knives to ensure top-quality and durability.
